Girl’s body found in drain

The body of a four-year-old girl who had fallen into a drain a few days ago was recovered, rescue sources reported on Tuesday.   The minor had reportedly slipped into the drain while playing in Gabol Town in New Karachi area. The drain is located at a distance of around 1.5 kilometres from her house.   According to residents, they started searching for the girl on their own when rescue teams failed to show up hours after the incident was reported. They maintained that the drain was infested with garbage, making it difficult to immediately ascertain its depth.
