Terrorist held in Lahore wanted to target police lines, railway station
LAHORE: Sensitive agencies claimed to have arrested a 14-year-old suspected terrorist from the Ravi Bridge and recovered a suicide jacket and explosives from his custody on Wednesday.
Police and other law enforcement agencies have been conducting comprehensive crackdowns on suspected terrorists and their facilitators since receiving threat alerts. On a tip off, the agencies rounded up a suicide bomber who hailed from Mohmand Agency.
He had plans to target police lines and Lahore Railway Station. The accused has been shifted to an unknown location for further investigations.
Eunuch murdered: A 25-year-old eunuch was murdered in the Kot Lakhpat police limits. Police removed the body to morgue for autopsy. The victim was identified as Fayyaz alias Muskan of Kot Lakhpat. He was attacked by some unidentified suspects with a knife, which caused his death.
