The Roots Millennium School (RMS) organised a cultural and recreational trip to Malaysia this week, says a press release.
A group of eight RMS students accompanied by Ms. Faizah Tasawar (Senior Manager Communications, Coordination & PR at RMS) got the opportunity to explore Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, through this trip. The students of RMS Oxbridge Campus, F-8/4 Islamabad, RCI Millennium Campus, I-9/3, Islamabad, & Pine Campus, Abbottabad, formed the group which travelled to Malaysia.
The trip was organised as part of the ‘Learning Beyond Borders’ and ‘Outreach Initiative’ which aim to develop students by providing them with opportunities to travel across borders, explore and enrich their knowledge and learning with international exposure with new and exciting experiences.
According to the Millennials, Malaysia is no doubt "Truly Asia". It is a melting pot of many diverse races and cultures, including the Malays, Chinese, Indians, Bengalis, Sri Lankans, Koreans, Pakistanis and other foreign nationals, living together with great harmony, tolerance and peace. They were very welcoming and have immense acceptance towards people of different religions and races. The group visited various sites of attraction within the Kuala Lumpur city and was briefed in detail about the democratic government system of Malaysia which includes the 9 Royal Families working side by side with the prime minister who is elected through the electoral votes after every five years. The Millennials got the opportunity to visit one of the 9 palaces of the sultans.
