Literary Week begins at UET

PESHAWAR: The Literary Week 2016 began at the University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar on Monday.
The event has been organised by the Literary and Debating Society of the university. Different competitions will be held during the week including “Naat Competition”, “Qirat Competition”, “Declamation Contest”, “Stage Drama”, “Quiz completion”, “Bait Bazi” and “Essay Writing”.
UET Peshawar Registrar Dr Khizar Azam was the chief guest at the opening ceremony. The registrar in his speech urged the students to develop interpersonal skills. He said such activities were key to a healthier and more positive environment.
