KARACHI: The international community should take notice of the Indian human rights violations in the occupied Kashmir urged the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan here on Saturday.
He was talking to media after a visit to the mausoleum of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. On the occasion he laid floral wreath at the Mazar and offered Fateha and also recorded his impressions in the Visitors Book.
Raja Farooq said that Quaid-i-Azam had declared Kashmir as the jugular vein of Pakistan. He stated that today 800,000 Indian troops occupying Held Kashmir are committing grave human rights violations in the Occupied Kashmir.
Over 800 people have been blinded due to firing by the occupying Indian forces. The Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir appealed to the international community to take notice of the Indian atrocities.
He further stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Pakistan is on the path of development and economic progress. Raja Farooq was of the view that all the four provinces should strengthen the hands of Nawaz Sharif for strengthening democracy and economic progress.
He said that Pakistan is advocating the cause of Kashmir at international level and it is necessary that Pakistan gain strength. He said that law and order situation in Karachi has improved and the usual hustle and bustle has restored in the metropolis.
