BANNU: An assistant professor at the Government Postgraduate College, Bannu, Asadullah Khan went missing mysteriously here Friday, police and family sources said.
Hazrat Amin told the police that his brother Asadullah Khan was an assistant professor at the Computer Science Department of the college.He said Asadullah Khan had left the college after performing the duty to pick his children up from the Akram Khan Durrani College in his car (MNA-3465) a day earlier.
Hazrat Amin said that Asadullah Khan neither reached the Akram Khan Durrani College nor returned home. He said that the family had no enmity. Following the incidents, the activists of the Pakhtun Students Federation (PSF) staged a protest rally outside the college to demand immediate recovery of the missing educationist.
The president of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Colleges Teachers Association, Sabz Ali Khan, expressed concern over the incident and demanded a prompt action to trace the missing colleague.The police registered a case and started investigation.
