Owner of Star Hotel shot dead

Islamabad: Two bike riding gunmen shot dead a local personality in broad daylight at Sitara Market Friday evening. The victim identified as Nisar Ahmad, resident of Perveen Shakir Road, F-7/1, was owner of Star Hotel, Sitara Market, and a senior vice president of Tehreek-e-Insaf (Gujar Khan Chapter). The Aabpara Police have taken up the case and shifted his body to PIMS for postmortem. The police have claimed that murder could be sequel to enmity. The police, quoting statements of eyewitnesses said that two bike riding gunmen opened firing on Nisar as he came out of his hotel and escaped from the scene.
