Sanitary workers demo

TOBA TEK SINGH: As many as 17 sanitary workers of the TMA Pirmahal on Sunday staged a demonstration against their termination from jobs.

The sanitary workers gathered outside the TMA Pirmahal office and chanted slogans against the TMA authorities. They told that they were recruited 10 years ago and now they were terminated from service without issuing them any prior notice. They demanded the authorities restore their jobs immediately.
