Pak democracy dictatorial: Mustafa Kamal
LAHORE: Pak Sarzameen Party Chairman Mustafa Kamal has said that current democracy in Pakistan is purely dictatorial and unless its benefits reach grassroots level, the situation couldn’t improve.
Flanked by Raza Haroon, talking to media during his visit to Lahore, the head of Pak Sarzameen Party said that democracy should be witnessed at street level but unfortunately in Pakistan, it hadn't been restored truly.
The PSP leader stated while he was the District Nazim of Karachi, city cleanliness and progress were quoted frequently and if he were still holding the office, Karachi would have been a garbage-free area.
To a question, he also clarified that former President Pervez Musharraf had no link with PSP whereas Abdul Rehman Bhola Bhala, a person arrested by Interpol, had never been part of Pak Sarzameen Party.
