Federal Government Girls Model School, F-7/1 on Saturday observed Iqbal Day to apprise students with the teachings of poet of east.
Students presented colourful tableau Urdu and English speeches recited poems of Allam Iqbal quiz competition and ‘Qawali’ to highlight the ideology of the great leader.
Addressing the ceremony as chief guest Joint Educational Advisor Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training Muhammad Rafique Tahir explained the concept of ‘Khudi’ and ‘Shaheen’ to the students.
He asked students to work hard consistently to achieve their goals.
Rafique Tahir also stressed on the importance of character building of students and directed faculty members of the school to focus on their moral education besides syllabus.
FG Girls Model School Principal Shabnum Afreen presented the vote of thanks and apprise the participants with the distension of students who grabbed prominent success despite limited resources.
