Youth kills father

HAFIZABAD: A youth allegedly murdered his father over a land dispute at Kaleke village Mandi Hafizabad on Tuesday.
Accused Riasat had a land dispute with his father Muhammad Sharif. On the day of the incident, accused Riasat allegedly killed his father with the help of a sharp-edged weapon and escaped. Later, Kaleke police arrested the accused and registered a case against him.
CLERKS DEMO: On the call of the All Pakistan Clerks Association, clerks on Tuesday staged a demonstration in support of their demands in front of the DCO Office here.
The protesters led by Nasrullah Hunjra chanted slogans in support of their demands and warned that they would stage a sit-in outside the Punjab Assembly on Dec 15 if their demands were not met.
