A holistic approach

Unrelenting terrorist attacks have made it imperative to modify our prevalent security structure and strategy to include political, economical, psychological and civic dimensions as well. The first and foremost is to own the war on terror. A multi-pronged approach needs to be devised to target terror funding, especially through poppy cultivation. In addition to this, the Afghanistan border should also be sealed to stop cross-border movements.
But the most essential element is to reform the education sector. The current stance over capital punishment is a step that will have positive impacts on the war against terrorism. Terrorism needs to be eradicated at all levels and for good this time.
