Demo against power outage

LALAMUSA: People staged a demonstration against unscheduled loadshedding here on Tuesday.
The protesters chanted slogans against the Gepco staffers. According to the protesters, the Gepco staffers allegedly removed a fuse from 600kv transformer, suspending power supply to the area. The people have demanded the high-ups concerned look into the matter and order restoration of power supply.
When contacted, Gepco city supervisor Abdul Rahim said that the power supply would soon be restored. However, electricity was not restored till the filing of the report.
