IJT demands recovery of missing PU teacher

LAHORE: Nazim-e-Aala Islami Jamiat Talaba (IJT), Pakistan, Sohaib Uddin Kakakhel, has demanded the government to ensure immediate recovery of missing faculty member of Punjab University (PU) Dr Ishtiaq Ahmed Gondal.
In a press release, Sohaib Kakakhel said it was a matter of grave concern that Assistant Professor Ishtiaq Gondal had been missing for the last one week. He said Gondal’s family, faculty members and students of the university were in a state of shock after the teacher went missing.
Sources in the university said Dr Ishtiaq left for Johar Town area to meet his close friend, who is also an elected representative, but did not reach there. They said both Dr Ishtiaq and his driver were missing since then.
