Uniform education

Schools across the country are following different curricula. The curricula of schools where exorbitant fees are paid for the education of students are at par with international standards. Such schools also provide sports and recreational activities to its students. Such activities help groom the personality of students. Their confidence level is boosted and their technical skills are further polished. Such students can easily penetrate into the global market and the prospect of their growth is high. The next category of privately-run schools is of those schools which although charge a nominal fee, don’t provide the education of good quality. The next category of schools is state-owned education institutions. Over the years, the quality of education in such schools has been declining. The standards of education are quite low which made it difficult for the students of these schools to compete with their peers in the professional field.

It is a sad situation that the provision of quality education is dependent on the earning capacity of the households of the country. Education is a basic right of the people of the country and such discrimination should be discouraged. All students of the country deserve a quality education. The education institutions should not be segregated into categories. If we provide good quality of education across the country, Pakistan would progress in no time.
