Suspect ‘who robbed people returning from banks’ killed

The Korangi Industrial Area (KIA) police gunned down one suspect, said to be a notorious robber, and arrested another in injured condition.
SSP Noman Siddique said police were told that four robbers were looting people near the Brookes Pharma Company.
As a police team reached the spot, a shootout ensued in which two robbers were arrested in injured condition, while the two others fled. The injured robbers were moved to the JPMC, where one of them, Noman, was pronounced dead on arrival. The injured was identified as Asif. Two pistols and a bike were seized by the police.
SSP said the men were involved in street crimes in Korangi and targeted people returning from banks.
