Govt digging a ditch for itself, says Aitzaz
LAHORE: Leader of the Opposition in Senate Aitzaz Ahsan has said the government is digging ditch for itself due to stubbornness in the prevailing circumstances.
In an interview on Sunday, Aitzaz said PML-N has option to either choose democracy or the office of Nawaz Sharif. He said that steps taken by PML-N government to stop rally of a political party created anarchy and rebellion among the masses.
Aitzaz warned that the ruling party should accept four demands of the PPP or get ready for its long march. He said it would be better for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to accept the Terms of References (ToRs) of the opposition, rather he will have to quit. The PPP senator said the nation has decided to no longer accept corruption and corrupt rulers and the ruling party need to give up stubbornness.
