Rs20 bn released for development projets
ISLAMABAD: The Finance Ministry has approved the release of Rs20 billion under the Prime Minister's Global Sustainable Development funds for the development projects on the recommendations of the Parliamentarians.
The Finance Ministry is likely to release the funds for the uplift projects on the instructions of the Prime Minister Office and these will be release from the Public Sector Development Programme for the current fiscal year of 2016-17.
In the last parliamentary meeting of the ruling PML-N, the parliamentarians had made complaints with the Prime minister that the most of the development projects were not being completed due to shortage of the funds. The Parliamentarians will recommend their development projects to planning commission.
