Attack on a woman
By our correspondents
October 27, 2016
The incident of a reporter being assaulted by an FC officer has stirred a storm on social media. This has led people to express their views on feminism, misogyny and media ethics. A lot of people have blamed the reporter. However, there are a number of people who know that violence is not a solution and raising hand on a woman is absolutely unjustified. What a shame that the officers of law-enforcement agencies are breaking the law and have an ugly mindset which advocates violence.
It is praiseworthy that the media is contributing towards a fight against corruption, nepotism and cronyism of institutions and carrying out a relentless campaign against them.
