Lakki police to take action on weapons display, aerial firing
LAKKI MARWAT: The station house officers and in-charge officers of police posts have been directed to take stern action against those involved in the practice of weapons display and aerial firing.
District Police Officer (DPO) Khalid Hamdani has issued the directions here on Saturday.
The district police chief said that aerial firing would not be tolerated as the menace could cause harm and put the lives of people in danger.
He asked the station house officers and police officers posted at police posts to realise their responsibilities and make limits of their police stations free from menace.
“The SHOs should ensure that not a single bullet is fired into the air in the limits of their respective police stations,” he maintained. He also directed SHOs to deal with an iron fist those challenging the writ of law.
