Islamabad: The Capital Administration and Development Division has allowed Islamabad’s legal practitioners to avail themselves of free checkup and treatment at Islamabad’s major hospitals like government officers.
The development comes in light of the recent Islamabad High Court orders.
According to a CADD official concerned, Islamabad Bar Council members or those practising law in the federal capital are eligible for free treatment at PIMS and Polyclinic. Currently, both Punjab and Sindh governments provide free medical treatment to the practising lawyers, but such facility is not provided to Islamabad’s lawyers by the federal government.
