In a video message, Imran made an appeal to party workers, who had been registered as its members to donate at least Rs100 for the party’s movement against corruption and to force the prime minister to either resign or present himself for accountability vis-a-vis PanamaLeaks.
He said that it was time to rise against corrupt elite and once the process of accountability started, Pakistan would be cleansed of the menace of corruption.
Meanwhile, spokesperson of PTI North Punjab Sajid Ali Qureshi said that if the rulers were committed to elimination of corruption, then why they had not written to the Swiss authorities for bringing back looted wealth of Pakistanis stashed there and why the prime minister did not present himself for accountability.
