Distribution of compensation amount to be completed by November 25

SWAT: The rehabilitation and relief activities in earthquake-hit areas of Malakand Division are in full swing under the supervision of General Officer Commanding Swat, Major General Nadir Khan. According to a press release issued by the ISPR here on Thursday, the process of distributing compensation among the quake victims is underway and Rs100 million have been disbursed so far among the families of 163 victims while 339 injured were being given an amount of Rs35 million. Rs3.53 billion have been distributed among owners of partially damaged houses while Rs3.4 billion have been given to the victims whose houses were damaged completely. The survey of damages has been completed and the process of distributing compensation amount among the victims would be completed by November 25.
