Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation’s (PTDC) nine major development projects across the country are nearing to completion, Managing Director Abdul Ghafoor said on Sunday.
Talking to APP, he said the under construction projects located in Gwadar, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan and Sindh would help revive tourism sector in the country.
The Azad Jammu and Kashmir projects would be completed at a cost of around Rs25 million, while Tourist Facilitation Centre in Gilgit-Baltistan would cost around Rs20 million.
Moreover, he said, Tourism Facilitation Center at Quetta would be completed at a cost of Rs20 million. Extension in Moenjodaro Motel would be completed at a cost of Rs15 millions, he said. PTDC tourists Facilitation Center at Karachi would be constructed at a cost of Rs15 million, he added.
He said a sum of Rs30 million has been allocated for the establishment of Motel at Swat, while TFC PTDC head office in federal capital would be completed at a cost of Rs30 million.
