PESHAWAR: The federal government on Friday notified appointment of Abid Saeed as chief secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.Abid Saeed, senior bureaucrat of grade-22, who belongs to the 8th common of the Central Superior Services (CSS), has arrived for first-ever posting in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during his over 30-year stint to assume charge of his office.He is the batch-mate of his immediate predecessor, Amjad Ali Khan, and both are due to retire next year. In pursuance of Establishment Division, Islamabad, notification, Abid Saeed (SG BS-22) has assumed the charge of the post of chief secretary, Khyber Pakhtun-khwa, Friday afternoon.
