IMSciences awarded 34 fully funded scholarships
PESHAWAR: The Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) has been awarded 34 fully-funded and need-based merit scholarships worth Rs23.11 million from the Fata Secretariat, USAID, KP government’s Chief Minister Education Endowment Fund (CMEEF) and other faculty funded scholarship programmes.
According to a press release, the scholarships were distributed among the needy but talented students of IMSciences, hailing from remote and underdeveloped areas such as Fata, Gilgit-Baltistan, Charsadda, Karak, Swabi, Mardan, Chitral, Malakand division and others.
The panel members included Dr Muhammad Mohsin Khan, director IMSciences, Rahimullah Yusufzai, Resident Editor The News, Dr Khalid Khan, additional secretary HED, Ajmal Khan, former VC of Islamia College University, Dr Naushad Khan, Pro-VC of Islamia College University, Zahid Wazir, deputy director Fata Secretariat, Muhammad Abbas, project manager HEC, Mirza Sanaul Haq from Ministry of States and Frontier Regions (Safron), Malik Manzoor from CMEEF) and senior faculty members of IMSciences.
