A statement issued Thursday said the Ambassador of Iran invited Pakistan to promote trade and investment with his country, as they shared the same interests, religion, culture, languages, and traditional values.
He said that Iran exports to Afghanistan were four times greater than Pakistan. In this regard he suggested preparing a road map for promotion of trade and investment between the two brotherly Islamic countries.
The agreements already signed between Pakistan and Iran should also be implemented. He also stressed to expedite the Joint Economic Commission between the two countries.
