Fata PTI activists protest Indian aggression on LoC
PESHAWAR: The activists of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) on Wednesday staged a protest against Indian aggression along the Line of Control (LoC).
Led by PTI central advisory council member Muhammad Iqbal Afridi, the demonstrators chanted slogans against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They were carrying placards and banners. The enraged tribesmen burnt Indian flags and Modi’s effigy.
Talking to reporters, Iqbal Afridi said that threats to Pakistan by the arch-rival India were a violation of the United Nations (UN) charter. He said the Indian forces were killing innocent Kashmiris and hurdled settlement of the core issue of Kashmir according to UN resolutions and wishes of the Kashmiri people. The PTI leader called upon the UN and world leaders to take immediate notice of brutalities of Indian forces in occupied Kashmir. He alleged that India was involved in the terrorist activities in Pakistan.
