An additional district and sessions court Wednesday awarded three-year jail term to one Shabbir over the charges of injuring a man.
However, the court acquitted brothers of the convict, Jameel and Munir. Police had booked three brothers Shabbir, Jameel and Munir over the charges of murdering Liaqat Ali. The FIR registered against three brothers stated that they had clubbed Liaqat to death over a dispute of just five rupees. The postmortem report of Liaqat revealed that he died of natural death.
