The prices of fruit and vegetables Tuesday remained stable in the markets of federal capital.
According to the Islamabad Market Committee price list issued here the prices of various fruits and vegetables showed no difference from the price list of the previous week.
According to price list potato per kilogram is Rs38, onion Rs35, tomato Rs50, ginger Rs90, garlic (China) Rs272, garlic (Desi) Rs265, lady finger Rs62, green zucchini Rs85, pumpkin Rs55, brinjal Rs35, peas Rs142, farnsh bean Rs75, Tanda (Walaiti) Rs70, cucumber Rs57, capsicum Rs110, green chilli Rs56, cauliflower Rs65-45, cabbage Rs30, bitter gourd Rs85, spinach Rs18-14, radish Rs32, turnip Rs45, yam Rs60, maroo Rs68, carrot Rs82, chicken Rs132 and egg per dozen Rs91.
Likewise he said that rates of fruits per kilogram of high and medium quality in Islamabad are as follows apple (kala kalo) Rs102-65, apple (Gaja) Rs95-60, apple (Golden) Rs80-50, banana (Pak) Rs78-40, pear (China) Rs165-130, grapes (Sunder Khani) Rs166-125, grapes (Gola) Rs100-90, guava 80-58, metha Rs138-110, grapes (Kabli) 118-100, pomegranate Rs115-95, malok Rs60-45, mango (Nawabpuri) Rs133-110.
