LHC wants petition against Nawaz,Zardari, Imran, others amended
LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Friday directed a petitioner to file an amended application with his already-filed petition against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and 63 politicians for allegedly sending money abroad.
As the hearing commenced, Barrister Javed Iqbal Jafry argued that Nawaz Sharif, Imran Khan, Shahbaz Sharif, Ch Shujaat, Pervez Elahi and other politicians shifted billions of rupees abroad. The petitioner had written the word “sir” before the name of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. On the court question, he replied that the British queen had given him this title on the Golden Jubilee of Pakistan, but the Indian PM refused to get this title. The court directed the petitioner to file an amended petition and adjourned the hearing.
Barrister Javed had filed the petition against Nawaz Sharif, Kulsoom Nawaz, Hussain Nawaz, Shahbaz Sharif, PTI Chief Imran Khan, Jemima Goldsmith, Yousaf Raza Gillani and his wife, Asif Ali Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Faryal Talpur, Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf, Ch Nisar, Rehman Malik, Ch Shujaat, Pervez Elahi and Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
