Custody issue resolved

A Guardian Court on Friday was informed that singer Humaira Arshad had settled the issue of child’s custody with her former husband Ahmad Butt.  The lawyers of the divorced couple said Humaira Arshad and Ahmad Butt had reached agreement and they did not want to continue litigation. At this, the court asked the lawyers to submit a copy of the agreement between the parties and deferred the matter until October 7.  The marriage of Humaira and Ahmad Butt had ended last month due to some domestic issue but both the parties indulged into legal battle for the custody of their minor son. —Correspondent
