2 impersonators caught in matric exams

LAHORE

Two impersonators and three candidates using unfair means were caught during the paper of English subject in matriculation Supplementary Examination 2016 on Thursday. 

A spokesperson of the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore said that on the direction of BISE Chairman Prof Ch Muhammad Ismail, Controller of Examinations Prof Nasir Jamil inspected the centre of Govt Pilot Secondary School, Wahdat Road, where a fake candidate Muhammad Aqeel was taking examination in place of Muazzam Ali, Roll No.130108; and another fake candidate, Muhammad Saleem, was appearing in place of Muhammad Tariq Roll No 130123. After lodging an FIR, both the impersonators and real candidates were handed over to Allama Iqbal police.  Muhammad Rauf, Roll No.130154, Ali Hassan, Roll No.130058 and Muhammad Waseem, Roll No.130162 were caught cheating during the examination. Unfair Means Cases (UMCs) were registered against them.

The chairman of the board also issued instructions to all the mobile inspectors to submit daily inspection reports to the office.
