Brief morning rain pleases Islooites

Islamabad: The residents of Islamabad and adjoining Rawalpindi were pleasantly surprised on Wednesday morning by a brief spell of rainfall.
Though the rain lasted around half an hour turning the weather pleasant, the ensuing daytime was a bit hot and humid. Currently, the rainy season of monsoon is on its last leg promising the imminent advent of the winter season.
According to the Met Office, there is a good chance of rainfall along with thunderstorm and windstorm in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Malakand, Hazara, Gujranwala, Lahore, Mirpurkhas divisions, FATA, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan during the next 48 hours. It said mainly hot and humid weather was expected in most parts of the country.
