While the political tensions between India and Pakistan are at a peak, Pakistan’s political parties are busy playing a blame game with one another. The PTI is preparing to set off on a march to Raiwind to record its protests against election rigging and the supposed corruption of the ruling party as indicated by the Panama leaks. The PML-N, the party in rule, is equally prepared for the march. Since sentiments are high on both sides, a confrontation may lead to bloodshed and mass killing.
Although the PTI and the PML-N might have some genuine grievances against each other, at the moment all the political parties need to show unity since India is leaving no stone unturned in expressing its anger against Pakistan. One appeals to the political parties to stop spreading anarchy in the state and put their differences at rest at least till the time the country is in danger from external threats.
