Located near Westridge Rawalpindi, Benazir Race Course Public Park is a well maintained public park with facilities that include exercise machines and a walking/jogging track. The park is visited regularly by a lot of families who come out in the open to breathe fresh air.
During polo season, unfortunately, the park becomes very dusty. The polo riders carry out their training activities on the northern grounds of the park adjoining the walking track which lift the dust level and end up disturbing those on the jogging track. The management of the polo club and the park authorities should coordinate with each other and try to restrict polo training activities to the southern side of the park – parallel to Peshawar Road – so that the general public is not disturbed.
