PESHAWAR: Bibi Jan, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) women wing president for Chitral district, has accused some party leaders of hatching conspiracy to kill her and demanded the leadership to take serious notice of the party’s situation in the area.

Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Bibi Jan said that she had started her political career from student life and took part in social activities but later joined the PML-N to serve the people of her district.

Flanked by a group of female party workers, Bibi Jan said that PML-N district president Said Ahmed Khan, Fazal Rahim and some others were allegedly trying to kill her.“The day when Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was scheduled to address a public meeting in Chitral these leaders called me to a meeting.

I came but they left the venue and locked the door from outside where I spent over one hour but some passerby heard my hue and cry and opened the door,” she alleged. The local leaders, she said, had destroyed the party due to their irresponsible attitude but added that Amir Muqam, advisor to prime minister, managed to gather a large number of people on the occasion.
