Islamabad: State Minister for Capital Administration and Development Division Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry visited the Islamabad Model College for Girls, Bhara Kahu and issued directives for the Capital Development Authority to provide machinery for the preparation of playground.
He also ordered the installation of scanners and walk-through gates at the main entrance to the college.
The college, the first for girls in the rustic locality, has already opened admissions.
The admissions are offered to intermediate classes of pre-engineering and pre-medical sections.
The classes will be taken by teachers of other educational institutions, including Islamabad Model Postgraduate College for Girls, F-7/2, Islamabad Model Postgraduate College for Girls, F-7/4 and Islamabad Model Postgraduate College for Girls, G-10/4. Until now, 50 students have secured admission to the science classes, whose capacity is 100.
