Police solve youth murder case in Nowshera

NOWSHERA: The police on Monday solved a blind murder case of a young man and arrested his wife and her alleged paramour in Akora Khattak, an official said.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Adnan Azam told the reporters that the police had found the bullet-riddled body of Zahiruddin near a seasonal stream in Mohallah Farid Khan on August 25 last.

He said that unknown persons had phoned Zahiruddin after he left the house and his body was later found lying in Farid Khan locality. The official said the police thoroughly investigated the case and traced the accused.

He said during the investigation it was revealed that the wife of Zahiruddin and her alleged lover Mudassar had planned and killed the man. The official said that wife of Zahiruddin during the investigation told the police that she liked Mudassar and had illicit relationship with him. She said that she was married to Zahiruddin against her consent and she planned to kill her husband with the help of Mudassar and his friend Qaiser Ali.The official said the police arrested Mudassar and Qaiser Ali and recovered the pistol used in the murder.
