These days, everybody has his/her smartphone in their hands. Everything is now available with the tap of a fingertip. In many developed countries books are being replaced by tablets and laptops to encourage students to utilise more of their efficiencies in learning instead of jotting notes down.
However, on the negative side many students are misusing technology. Everything is good in moderation.
