6 injured as building collapses in Pirwadhai

Rawalpindi: At least six youth who were playing snooker were injured as a dilapidated building collapsed in Pirwadahi area here on Sunday.
Rescue 1122 personnel retrieved the six injured youth from the debris and shifted them to the District Headquarters Hospital.
According to Rescue 1122 official, Farooq Butt, the rescuers remained busy in removing the debris fearing more people might be buried beneath it.
He said the recent rains could be the reason for the collapse of the building which was in dilapidated condition. The rescued injured were identified as Bahrooz Khan (20), Shakir (30), Majid (22), Arshad Khan (35), M Javed (30) and Sabih Ullah (25).
