14 arrested in search operation

Police conducted a search operation in and around the Wagah area and arrested 14 suspects.

Police claimed that the arrested suspects had failed to produce their identification papers for checking. 

PHP arrest nine POs: Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) claimed to have arrested 37 criminals, including nine proclaimed offenders (POs).

Besides arresting the POs and others, PHP teams also reunited five children, M Umar, M Saleem, M Fayyaz, Sher Ali and M Usman, with their parents.

PHP teams arrested nine POs named Ghulam Abbas, M Sajid, Khalid Mehmood, Rab Nawaz, Abdulrasheed, Allah Divaya, Babar Munir, Rafique and Ali Raza. They was handed over to police.

PHP teams arrested 28 accused, including Ahsan, M Asif, Khalid Raza, Shahzad, M Rashid, Mazhar Abbas, Aslam, Ramazan, Iqbal, M Saleem, M Adeel, Ilyas, Munir, Shabir, Naveed, Mansoor, M Ali, Ali Nawaz, M Ilyas, Khursheed, Abid Hussain, Allah Baksh and Imtiaz.

Police seized 125 litre liquor, seven pistols and 165 bullets, one rifle and 410 gram charas from their possession.  A PHP team seized 506 kilogram unhygienic meat from accused M Yameen.
