PFA seals food outlets
Punjab Food Authority (PFA) sealed canteens of three bus terminals over different violations here on Wednesday.
PFA teams raided the canteen of City Bus Terminal at Bund Road and sealed it due to absence of food licence, dirty atmosphere, improper labeling on food products and presence of insects. The team then raided the canteen of Skyways Bus Terminal and found chips with fungus, abundance of insects, absence of food licence and improper cleanliness in washrooms. The team sealed this canteen while the canteen of Bilal Daewo Bus Service was sealed due to similar conditions.
Other teams of PFA sealed Dutch Ill Pvt Ltd in Gulberg Ghalib Market, Munir Milk Shop in Lohari Gate, Summit Water Plant at Do Moria Pul, Pharma Jin Water at Sher Shah Road, production unit of Javed Sweets at Sher Shah
Road, 99 Dairy in Kahna, Osama Foods in Kot Lakhpat Industrial Area, Ahmed Milk Shop at PIA Road and Kaka Naan Shop and Sultani Chanye at Altaf Colony in Wahgah Town. —Correspondent
