“This is not an ordinary example that a sitting MPA and special assistant to the prime minister has resigned from the positions to join the PPP.”

Shah welcomed Imtiaz Shaikh in the PPP and hoped that he would serve the people of Sindh and strengthen the party.

Food minister Nisar Khuhro said that Imtiaz Shaikh was a senior parliamentarian and his inclusion in the party is a good omen.

Speaking on the occasion, Imtiaz Shaikh said that he had joined the PPP in his meeting with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, former president Asif Zardari and MNA Faryal Talpur in London.
