NED beat Orasoft, HU gets walkover

KARACHI: NED University beat Orasoft by six wickets in the Jashan-e-Azadi Inter University Cricket Tournament 2016 which is under way here at the Naya Nazimabad Ground.
Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology is organising the tournament in collaboration with Naya Nazimabad.
Batting first, Orasoft posted 114 runs. Syed Laraib top scored for the side with 32 runs. Mohammad Bilal took three wickets.
NED University achieved the target in 18.4 overs with six wickets in hand. Shahzaib Ahmed (60) batted brilliantly.
Another scheduled match for the day was not played and Hamdard University was awarded a walkover against Pakistan Marine Academy.
