ANP chief slamsattacks on media houses in Karachi

PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) chief Asfandyar Wali Khan has expressed concern over the attacks on media houses in Karachi and assured full support to the media people and their representative organisations.
In a press statement issued here on Tuesday, the ANP chief asked the government to take stern action against those involved in such heinous activities. He said that in the prevailing circumstances, media persons have become insecure and it was the duty of the government to provide them security. Asfandyar Wali said the ANP believed in freedom of press and it would continue to raise voice for the rights and protection of journalists at every forum.
