“We will send our respective lists to the parliamentary committee on Friday and the meeting of the committee would be held on Monday to finalise the four names from the list sent to them by leader of House Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah,” said Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar and Khursheed Shah while addressing a joint press conference here Thursday outside the Parliament House after final phase of the consultation on the appointment of ECP members.
Speaking jointly to the media after holding the final consultative meeting on appointment of ECP members, Ishaq Dar and Khursheed said the efforts will be made in the parliamentary committee to have unanimously one name from both government and opposition sides.
