Bank manager arrested, released

TOBA TEK SINGH: City police Thursday arrested a bank manager over poor security.
Muhammad Adeel was arrested on charges of not hiring security guards for the bank.
However, he was released when he submitted an undertaking to hire guards soon. Police sealed the bank.
LAWYERS STRIKE: Lawyers of the District Aar Association Thursday observed a complete strike for the second day over the refusal of LHC to establish its bench at Faisalabad.
DBA president and its secretary Mian Farrukh Iqbal said the strike would also be observed on Friday (today).
JAIL INSPECTED: District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Yar Wallana Thursday visited district jail and released on personal surety bond a prisoner, who was jailed for a petty crime.
He also inspected jail kitchen and its barracks. Senior Civil Judge Hafiz Muhammad Yousaf also accompanied him.
