Waseem to meet Balochistan CM, corps commander

KARACHI: World Boxing Council (WBC) silver flyweight champion Mohammad Waseem will meet top officials of the Balochistan government and military on Friday (today) at Quetta.
This correspondent learnt on Thursday that Waseem would meet the Balochistan chief minister Sanaullah Zehri and corps commander Quetta.
Waseem has been extended formal invitations for these meetings. Former Asian Games bronze medallist arrived in Islamabad on Wednesday from Seoul and moved to his hometown Quetta on Thursday.
Waseem defeated Jether Oliva of the Philippines in a 12-round battle in Seoul on July 17.
The 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games silver medallist achieved the milestone only in the fourth bout of his pro career which began early last year.
