CTD lodges FIR in Kalat bus attack
QUETTA: A case has been registered over the firing incident on a bus in Kalat district of Balochistan, in which three people were killed and fourteen others injured.
According to officials of the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), the case was registered at the CTD Police Station in Kalat on the complaint of the Station House Officer (SHO) of Kalat Police Station. The FIR includes charges of murder, attempted murder, and terrorism.
The incident occurred a day earlier when unidentified armed assailants opened indiscriminate fire on a passenger bus traveling from Karachi to Quetta in the Nimargh area of Kalat. As a result, three individuals died on the spot and fourteen were injured.
Police and security agencies have launched an investigation into the incident, and a search operation is currently underway in the area.
